EZ Match is an optional feature which gives you the chance to win prizes instantly when you buy your Pick 3 tickets. You don’t even have to wait for a draw to take place – you could pick up to $500 right there before you walk out the store.
It’s really simple to play EZ Match. All you need to do is select the option on your playslip. It costs an additional $1 per play.
When your ticket is issued, three EZ Match numbers will be printed below your Pick 3 numbers. These extra three digits are generated at random by the lottery terminal, and each one will be accompanied by a prize value alongside it.
If any of the EZ Match numbers are the same as the Pick 3 numbers you have selected, you win the corresponding prize. Unlike Pick 3, the order of the numbers is not relevant.
You cannot cancel a ticket if you play with EZ Match.
The prizes you can match with EZ Match range between $2 and $500. You are less likely to win the larger amounts – the system generates the top prize values far less frequently alongside your EZ Match numbers.
If two or more of the same Pick 3 number are a match, you only win the associated prize once. For example, if you play the numbers 119 and then an EZ Match number of 1 is printed alongside a prize of $100, you win $100 rather than $200.
